Diocesan Clergy Gather At 8th Annual Colloquium in May

The clergy of the Diocese of Tennessee will gather together at St. Mary’s Center in Sewanee from May 9th to the 11th.  This annual clergy gathering is an opportunity for them to spend time together as colleagues around a theological theme.  The guest speaker is Dr. Christian M.M. Brady, Associate Professor of Classics & Ancient Mediterranean Studies and Jewish Studies at Penn State University, and currently the interim leader of St. Bartholomew’s Church in Nashville.

His subject is, “Beautiful and Terrible Things, a Biblical Theology of Suffering and Grace”, and he’ll be speaking out of his academic work on Targum Lamentations and from his own experience.

Please contact Kim Jones (kjones@edtn.org or 615-251-3322) at Diocesan House if you have any questions about the Colloquium.
