St. Ann's, Nashville is looking for Part-Time Childcare Provider to care for nursery and toddler aged children on Sundays during worship and Christian Education, Christmas Eve and Saturday night Easter worship (night before Easter Sunday.) The person must be comfortable interacting with infants and toddlers and working with one other child care staff person, church volunteers and parish staff. The person must be a good communicator and have good rapport with parents. The person will be responsible for keeping the childcare space clean and organized and keeping an inventory of needed nursery supplies. Experience in childcare is required. St. Barnabas' Church is immediately seeking to fill their part-time paid position of Director of Music by September 25th. The Director of Music reports to The Reverend Michael J. Murphy and oversees the music program at St. Barnabas' which includes recruiting/training choral members, coordinating special services/activities with the rector, selecting music according to the church year, supervising the music library and volunteers, and working with the children's choir director and organist. A minimum of a BS in Music is required and 3 years experience as a choral director as well as knowledge of the Anglican Catholic liturgical service is preferred for applicants. St. Barnabas' has an excellent acoustical church environment, a choir rehearsal room, vesting room, and an Casavant Freres Ltd. of Canada organ with 18 ranks and approximately 900 pipes.
