DESCRIPTION:W.A. Mozart has delighted the world with his music for generations\, and we are pleased to host Nashville’s Roger Wiesmeyer for an annual celebration of the prolific composer’s birthday. Atalented pianist\, Wiesmeyer enjoyed a long career with the Nashville Symphony playing oboe and English horn\, and each year he invites Nashville musicians to join him for an exciting selection of Mozart’s work. This year’s program will also feature Dr. Woosug Kang performing Fantasia in F minor\, K.608\, an unusual work originally written for a musical clock. This program is free to attend\, but any donations collected during the concert will be given to a local nonprofit agency serving the Nashville community.
