Through December 6 – St. Lukes Community House Toy Store – Each holiday season, families in need turn to The Toy Store at St. Luke’s to get brand new Christmas gifts for their children at a very low price. DuBose Volunteer/Community Service Workday Saturday, December 4 from 8:00am-4:00pm – Dubose Conference Center – Join us for a day of projects around our beloved camp and conference center. Show up (after sending RSVP) at DuBose on Saturday, December 4, at 8am with work gloves, proper clothing for winter weather, any tools you may have, all skills, and a smile to do good works! 62nd Annual Festival of Lessons and Carols Saturday, December 4 & Sunday December 5 – All Saints Chapel, University of the South, Sewanee – After being unable to gather in person last December, we look forward to welcoming the extended Sewanee family back into All Saints’ Chapel again in 2021. In anticipation, we’ve made plans to expand our seating capacity for all three services!

Lessons & Carols at St. George’s, NashvilleSunday, December 5 at 6:00pm – Join us as we welcome the season of Advent with St. George’s annual liturgical feast of seasonal anthems interposed with readings, featuring St. George’s Choir, Choristers, and St. Dunstan’s Choir.

Choral Evensong Sundays, December 5 and 12 at 4:30pm – St. Paul’s, Murfreesboro – Join the choir and clergy for this beautiful offering of prayer and music, following the historic Anglican Tradition.

Nashville Unlimited Benefit Concert for Room in the Inn Tuesday, December 7 at 7:00pm – Christ Church Cathedral – Dave Pomeroy’s Annual Nashville Unlimited Christmas Concert features Nashville’s best singers, songwriters, and musicians performing holiday favorites to benefit Room In The Inn. This year will be a live taping of the concert with a fixed number of attendees, please be sure to RSVP HERE to attend. Proof of vaccination is required and masks are strongly recommended for this event. $20 donation suggested.

Laymen’s Advent Eucharist Wednesday, December 8 at 6:00pm – Church of the Advent – The annual Advent Service for the laymen of the Diocese of Tennessee will be at 6pm on Wednesday, December 8, at Church of the Advent, Nashville. Bishop Bauerschmidt will officiate, and there will be a social time afterwards with snacks and various beverages for those who would like to mingle after the service. So we can plan for the reception, please let us know if you will be attending by emailing us at TNLaymen@gmail.com by end of day Monday, December 6.

Night of Light Liturgy Wednesday, December 8 at 6:30pm – Christ Church Cathedral – Anointing at 6pm. This time of worship will include scripture readings, prayers, silence, the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, music, and the lighting of candles. Please plan to attend this Liturgy as we offer our hearts to God and as we wait, hope, and heal.

Annual Festival of Lessons and Carols Sunday, December 12 at 4:00pmChrist Church Cathedral – Readers from the Christ Church Cathedral congregation join the Cathedral Choir to trace in music and scripture the story of prophecy and fulfillment, from the foretelling of the coming of Christ, through Advent and the Annunciation, to the Incarnation of God’s promise in the birth of our Savior.

Silent Night Sunday, December 12 at 6:00pm – St. George’s, Nashville – Recognizing that Advent and Christmastime can be a particular challenge to those suffering from grief, loss, and anxiety, we offer this service of hope and healing in the Nave. This beautiful traditional service of evening prayer and candlelight makes space for those seeking God’s healing touch.

Liturgy of Hope Wednesday, December 15 at 6:00pm – St. Paul’s, Murfreesboro – All are welcome to this service of remembrance, lament, and hope, where we will consider the memories of past experiences and the pain of the present reality in light of our great hope, Jesus, the Holy Child of Bethlehem.

Friday, December 17 at 7:00pm – Good Shepherd, Brentwood – Live Nativity Performance – All are invited to witness the beauty of the Nativity performed by the children and youth on the grounds of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Brentwood. Join in celebrating the mystery and majesty of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
