Qualified members of Convention may propose resolutions, which must be returned to Diocesan House by December 9th in order to be considered on time.

The deadline for filing late resolutions is December 28th, and any resolutions must be postmarked or received electronically by that date in order to be considered under the rules governing late resolutions.

Our Canons State:
Only lay or clergy Delegates, Vestries, Mission Councils, Missionary Convocations, and the Bishop and Council, may submit nominations and resolutions for consideration by the Annual Convention. Resolutions must be received by, or postmarked for delivery by mail, to the Secretary of the Convention forty-five days preceding the first business day of the Convention. No other resolutions may be considered by the Annual Convention without the approval of a simple majority of the Convention delegates in accordance with the Rules of Order. Nominations shall be made in accordance with the Rules of Order (Diocesan Canon I.9).
