Join your friends, community members, and colleagues for an afternoon of history and fellowship. Tickets to the luncheon are free; a $10 donation for the catered lunch is suggested. Funds raised from this event will help establish an African American museum and cultural center in Maury County. Jo Ann McClellan, President of the African American Heritage Society of Maury County, is the featured speaker for this event. Her presentation is titled “Making a Way for Themselves: Faith, Family, Education, and Entrepreneurship” and showcases the courageous stories of African Americans in Maury County.

The event will be at West 7th Church of Christ, 405 West 7th Street, Columbia.
