Essence of Joy is a choral ensemble of Penn State University – State College. Under the direction of Dr. Anthony T. Leach, Essence of Joy (EOJ) offers performances, education, and appreciation for sacred and secular music from the African Diaspora. For over 30 years, this ensemble has travelled the world collaborating with choirs and other music organizations.
