The annual series Jazz on the Triangle celebrates its Twenty-seventh Season at the Church of the Holy Trinity. Paula James Chavis defies a musical category. She has certifiable pop and R&B credentials who can nail an Ellington or Basie tune. Growing up in Nashville, Paula graduated from Pearl High School and started her singing career at the age of four when she sang at the historic Episcopal Church in downtown Nashville, the Church of the Holy Trinity.
