Lessons & Carols
December 18 @ 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
On Christmas Eve, 1918, the Chaplain of King’s College, Cambridge took a Cornish Christmas tradition and brought it to the world. Weaving together biblical readings with seasonal music, the service prepared participants to hear the announcement of the birth of Jesus Christ. For over 20 years, St. Paul’s has hosted its own service. We invite you to join us for the service begins at 4:30 with a treble soloist singing “Once in Royal David’s City,” followed by scripture and carols sung by the choir and congregation. We’ll end with the uplifting “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” as we anticipate Christmas Eve together in our beautiful nave. If you cannot attend in person, the service will be live streamed. There is a reception following in Parish Hall.
